  1. Fetfa is moving the ball nicely, I don’t understand why he’s never selected for the national team games. Masouras is having a good game as well

  2. We support and follow the team. All we want is for the team to achieve and make us proud. Ofcourse we are apart of the team. Why are you here if you don’t care??

  3. I know man I can’t describe how angry and disappointed I feel. Who ever is laughing is not Greek. You shouldn’t be on these forums...

  5. Regardless of the goalie today, they should be able to win with any one of us in net.

  6. Okay if there is no quality lets just play with 4‑1‑4‑1 with mitroglou as lone striker No joke...just put up a defensive wall

  7. Listen guys we have to stop talking about lineups, coaches and tactics. We have to start a revolution. We need to start blaming the EPO for all of this! They are indeed at fault here. The corruption has gotten out of control and is the reason the team is falling down the rankings...

  8. Greece absolutely dominated this game despite their horrendous form. They lost due to a combination of a lack of execution, too many hopeful long-balls and back-passed (what's new?) and plain old bad luck. No reason to miss out on 3 points today though. Fetfa was a big positive and I'm happy to see him back in the fold. Should be one of the first names on the game sheet at this point.

  10. Πολύ σωστά! Είναι απίστευτο πάντως πως αναπτυγμένα έθνη με ιστορία, πολιτισμό επιλέγουν καραγκιόζηδες ηγέτες!

  11. Guys do not blame the coach at all, we are an embarrassment and one of Europe’s worst teams in soccer we have to face it.. this is only on the players and no one else.. we need to start being honest with ourselves and realize we are officially a minnow and a a complete disgrace..our players are not good enough bottom line.. The coach probably regrets taking this job.. I don’t care which players you try and mix and match the results will be the same.. This team has not changed at all since the disgraceful euro 2016 qualifiers..

  12. We have become a complete joke! Everyone is to blame. The coach is the least to blame out of everyone. Grammenos needs to get out. The players disgust me...

  13. Attacking style does mean we get some great displays and proper results. Even Skibbe would have won this game.

  14. Fetfa needs to be a regular starter on this team he can take on defenders something we are desperately missing from this team.. with his skill he opens up defenders and creates space for the other teammates..

  15. Watching that too Italy are dominating possession and have had shots. Even without Verrati in the lineup. Finland are hanging on..

  16. I just think the person taking the corner has to do better. Fortounis is naturally a great crosser. When he takes them we usually look dangerous. Same could be said with Koutris. Going forward we will need these 2 for set pieces and creativity in general.

  18. Masouras with a great shot saved and moments later Is yellow carded which means he won’t be able to play against Italy... of course, we always have to do something stupid after some positives

  21. I am happy to see Fetfa. Like I said before, he didn't pan out like we all hoped, but he was the only player to give a new dimension to the NT. I have not seen anyone run at and challenge defenders like he did back in the day, and I am hoping to see that again vs Liechtenstein.

  22. What is this obsession with Barkas? Odisseas plays for Benfica, a perennial UCL team.

  23. We will still see back passes. It isn't the quality of the opponent that forces the back pass, it's the lack of quality of the system.

  24. At the very least, we need the pts to be able to be seeded at a higher pot, so every game still matters!!

  25. If we can get off the floor, and get within 3 points of Fins by the last game then belief will be stronger and we may have an outside sniff. While we have mathematical chance we should play as well as we can to win each match with best possible starting lineup. If Van’t schip starts experimenting too much in remaining matches indicating he is preparing for WC 2022 qualifiers, then any small hope will be gone. He can do this once mathematically there is no chance of qualifying for example we lose Liechtenstein and Finland beats Italy tomorrow.

  26. Some good and interesting points Good press conference with JVS, some key points 1. We have to have a good performance for the Greek fans 2. He was aware of the situation with the Ethniki when he came 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY MOVING FORWARD - we become a team and put the ego's aside (he refers to ego's a few times which I think is telling) 4. If you want to play for the Ethniki, that has to be your priority 5. When you're called to camp that is the only thing that matters - players with this attitude will be selected going forward 6. Clear goals for all and what coaching staff will be looking at 7. Hard work needed to get results 8. Goals & Focus when coming to play for Greece, need to put aside all other things and be professional, be proud to play for Greece (again, a very telling comment) This is a mindset we have not seen in the Ethniki for some time and I think he has some messages to some players in what he is saying so I reckon he has seen a few things he does not like

  27. Our players have a serious problem with being pressed. It's unbelievable, it's like they've never experienced it before. Like they've been pulled out of another footballing era and dropped into the modern game. I find it staggering that they expect to be given 5 seconds to control the ball, take a breath, have a look before they turn and then FINALLY turn. It was an issue that we struggled with and cost us against Armenia and we struggled again last night. I expect us to be too good for Liechtenstein regardless of if they press or not but it's something that needs to be addressed moving forward. Although I'm not sure it's something that can necessarily be improved once players reach senior international level.
