When I heart about Fetfa I thought it was a joke. Because he is the worst solution for that role. But it is true. Which means that the coaching team is far away of the common sense of facing a crusial match. I hope the are going to see their mistakes

Yes, overall a solid season. But we were just a player or two far from a top season. Gama, Garcia, Larsson, Diguiny, Martinez with quite wittiness, finesse and even good shooting and finishing ratios are a level above Javito, Calvo and company from near past operating from sides and attacking, overall. Thank God. But - overrated Siopis and lazy Matilla against any two of Nebegleras, Palazuelos, Nacho, Nafti, Faty, even Ivić and Vitolo and some more is incomparable. Huge difference and that is why we are fifth actually. Only that.

Αυτό θα ήταν ίσως καλό αν αφορούσε ένα παιχνίδι δευτερεύουσας σημασίας. Όχι πάντως αυτό. Γιατί ΔΕΝ ΚΑΝΕΙ για 10άρι και δεν υπάρχουν περιθώρια για πειράματα. Γιατί: Δεν είναι 10άρι, δεν μοιράζει παιχνίδι, κρατά τη μπάλα περισσότερο από ότι πρέπει και παίζει με το κεφάλι κάτω. Δηλαδή πόσο άμπαλος μπορεί να είναι κάποιος για να σκεφτεί κάτι τέτοιο; Ετούτος κάνει για τις περιπτώσεις που θέλουμε κάποιος από την ομάδα να κρατήσει τη μπάλα. Αλλά αυτό προυποθέτει ασφαλή σκορ. Εδώ το πρώτο ζητούμενο για μας είναι τα γκολ και μάλιστα μια διαφορά πάνω από τα δυο που είχαμε πετύχει στην Αθήνα. Τέλος πάντων, για μένα είναι μια αναμέτρηση δυο καλοδουλεμένων συνόλων κι αυτό ίσως μας δίνει ένα προβάδισμα. Αν παροπλιστούν κάποιες υπολογισίμες μονάδες, όπως πχ ο Κουλούρης από τον Βέλεθ -πράγμα σχετικά εύκολο θαρρώ- τότε δεν έχουμε λόγους να ανησυχούμε. Η νίκη θα έρθει άνετα. Υπό την προυπόθεση βέβαια πως η ομάδα θα εμφανίσει στο χορτάρι το καλό της πρόσωπο. Δλδ Ματίγια-Σιώπη σε καλή ημέρα. Ο Φετφά αν θέλει να διεκδικήσει θέση στην 11άδα θα πρέπει να ξεπεράσει κατά πολύ τον εαυτό του στο χρονικό διάστημα που θα αγωνιστεί. Αυτό όμως είναι ένα δικό του στοίχημα και σε καμιά περίπτωση δεν πρέπει να γίνει δικό μας. Ο Παντελίδης ίσως και να του δώσει μια ωρίτσα περιθώριο αλλά όχι παραπάνω. (Για μένα και πολύ του είναι. Γιατί τρώει χρόνο από τη ταυτόχρονη παρουσία του Λάρσον και του Γκαρσία. Πιο βολικό το βλέπω να έρχεται σαν αλλαγή κι εκ του ασφαλούς -με το σκορ στο 2-0- ας κρατά τη μπάλα όσο θέλει. Δεν θα γανιάσουμε για να βρει αυτός τον καλό του εαυτό. Ας γανιάσει ο ίδιος να ανεβάσει το κασέ του).

Mitso, as I wrote just in a new post above yours - yes, I agree, a good season, really. And I would take away some of your praising amount off Pantelidis' shoulders - He was lucky as hell occasionally as Garcia and Matilla took some points for him. The only good thing with him is that, when we were in top form, he just followed the receipt of not changing much and kept taking the fruit out of good team movement and atmosphere. Yes, that is something, OK is, but other than that - nahhh. Not many pluses.

Rey, we need to look at the overall picture when judging this squad. If we manage to finish 5th the season has been very successful, 4th would be extremely successful. Pantelidis has managed to win some important games when Aris needed them the most. As fans we all tend to overrate the players of our team, I think we have a talented group and we will hopefully add to it this offseason and climb the ladder next year. Let's not forget that even though we are currently is 5th place PAO have accumulated more points through the year but started the season at -6. Come on Aris the game is not over!!!!

I am a big critic of Pantelidis and his coaching from a day 1. Not last week or now, just, but even when we were winning. I would also win over Lamia, Smyrni, Larisa sides etc as a coach of this talented attacking Aris. I will always judge a coach whose biggest season achievement is a point at Toumba and selfie at Toumba's locker room like we got in the Champions League. And just one plus more on his side - a victory over AEK. Other? What? Horrible losses at Oly and PAO, both in and out against Atromitos as all show for now. So, when we needed calmness the most , he fuked up. So, now when Garcia stopped scoring, nobody can save his arse. What now, my dear hopeless-face coach?? Velez also tragic back there for weeks now and he still puts him in. Valerianos as RB against PAO, Fetfatzidis a starter at Oly ec etc. Ahhhhh crap choices, I can name more.
