  1. I remember reading a post about the Greek teams in Australia by one of the posters that was very interesting. Therefore, I got the idea to make a topic dedicated to all the Greek teams in the diaspora. We can both bring up news concerning the teams or we can just share the clubs' Facebook links in order for them to get more likes, followers etc. I'm not sure about the criteria but I guess the clubs must have a Greek history and must be operated by Greeks. Here's some Swedish clubs: Akropolis IF - they are currently playing in "gamma ethiniki", where they finished 2nd after a Kurdish team last year. They went to play-off but unfortunately lost both the even games. History: the club was established in 1968 by the Greek society of Stockholm. Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/akropolis.if/?fref=ts Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/akropolisif/ Apollon Solna: Established in 2009. As you can see by looking at their badge, they are co-operating with Apollon Kalamaria. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Apollon-Solna-FK-404391006411137/?fref=ts Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/apollonfk/ IF Alexander den store (Sport Association Alexander the Great): Not many Greek players in the team but it's operated by the Greek Society of Helsingborg. As Apollon, they don't have a professional team and they play in the lowest division. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/IfAlexanderDenStore/?fref=ts Be sure to like them and show them your support! Don't forget to post if you know any teams in the diaspora! :D

  3. I'm just waiting for the ridiculous comments some of the leftist-anarkist-drug addicts will say when/if Savvidis decides to build a new stadium; "Toumba panta o naos mas", "De ksexname tin istoria mas, 8a meinoume TOUMBA", "Eee Rosso de kseris tipota apo tin istoria tou PAOK mas, fyge apo edw re!" I swear that some of these people will protest against having the stadium on another location but at the same time protest against demolishing Toumba in order to get space for a new stadium. I myself hope that we get a new stadium as soon as possible. Toumba has a great history but it's time to move on to a more modern stadium. As Reaper says, we've heard the talk about stadia before in Greece, so I won't be surprised if nothing happens

  4. This is one of my alltime favourites. Played it a lot when I was younger going to or leaving Greece in the summer. It was the days of the good old tapes. Play, rewind, play again, rewind again...... Best part starts after about 1:30

  5. Aw come on guys, can't we just appreciate these two GREAT players who we are very lucky to be able to watch week in week out. I would say that Messi is slightly better, but if you asked me a couple of years ago, I'd have said Ronaldo. Not that this really matters right now, Suarez had been the difference between Barca and Real (or any other team in Europe) since he signed. They are both extremely gifted technically and as athletes. And I should say that Ronaldo does not have a bad attitude, he has a top work ethic and keeps himself in supreme shape. Yes he is arrogant, but that doesn't really matter on the pitch, you mainly just notice it in interviews and his appearance. Being an arrogant, vein prick seems to have served him well in life up until now anyway.

  6. First of all Toumba does not belong to Savvidis or even PAOK FC. It belongs to the Amateur PAOK and any work to be done to the current stadium needs to have their approval. As for building a new stadium somewhere else, Savvidis as a businessman is free to do anything he wants. In the modern age this probably is the most logical solution, but I doubt this will be the option Savvidis will choose. I think in the end we will end up with a refurbished Toumba.

  8. Your owner is a tightass. If I had money football clubs are not what I would consider for investing. However if I was looking for an expensive hobby or plaything then yes, I would buy Kalamata and try to bring them to the superliga.

  9. My favorite PAOK jersey as it has the old emblem on it. If anyone has it and wants to sell it, I'm here... :D
